Zombieing means someone who ghosted you turns up again weeks or months later as if nothing had happened.
With zombieing, someone comes back from the dead – at least in the chat. At some point he ghosted you, disappeared for weeks or months and suddenly gets in touch again. And he does so as if the radio silence had never happened.
A typical message: “Hey you, long time no hear! How are you?” Not a word about why he simply vanished.
How you respond is entirely up to you. Sometimes there’s genuine regret behind it, sometimes just boredom. It’s perfectly fine to ask first what was going on back then before you get involved again.
