Top, bottom and vers describe which part someone prefers in anal sex: active, passive or both.
The three terms describe which role someone likes best in anal sex.
- Top: the active part, who penetrates.
- Bottom: the passive part, who receives.
- Vers: short for “versatile”. If you’re vers, you like both.
Many state this straight away in their profile, so it’s clear from the start whether you’re a match. Incidentally, the role says nothing about masculinity or character: a bottom isn’t weaker, and a top isn’t automatically dominant. And a daddy can be a bottom too.
Some men don’t like anal sex at all – there’s the term “side” for that.
