In youth slang, “smash” means wanting to get something going with someone, often quite directly: going to bed with him. The word comes from the game “smash or pass”, in which you decide on the basis of photos: would I (“smash”) or rather not (“pass”)?
In Germany the English word was chosen as Youth Word of the Year (Jugendwort des Jahres) 2022.
In a chat it might look like this: “Honestly? Smash.” as a reaction to your profile picture. That’s a clear compliment with a clear intention, but not necessarily a date.
