“Sus” means suspicious or questionable, short for “suspicious” – it became well known through the game “Among Us”.

Often “sus” is only meant playfully, half in jest.
In a chat, for example: “You know your way around the nightclubs in Cologne pretty well, sus 👀”. That’s more teasing than genuine suspicion. A fitting reply: “Let’s just say: research” – with a wink.
