Most men who discover DaddyBoy find out about it through other men. A tip at the bar, a card on the counter, a “have you heard of this yet?”. That’s exactly where we want to raise our profile: with small card stands in the bars, clubs, cafés and saunas of the scene, and at gay scene events. To do this, we need local support, which is why DaddyBoy now has its own page for jobs.
The first role: Promoter in Stuttgart
As a promoter, you’ll visit venues listed in our scene guide, briefly introduce DaddyBoy and ask if you can set up a card stand. If the venue says yes, you’ll set it up, take a photo to document it and get their approval confirmed. On subsequent visits, you’ll top up the cards and check that the stands are still there. At scene events, you’ll also hand out cards and flyers directly to interested people. Whilst you’re out and about, you’ll cross-check the venues against the scene guide and update any missing or out-of-date details and photos. You’ll keep a brief log of your rounds.
You largely organise your own time, usually in the afternoons, evenings or at weekends. You should feel at ease in gay bars, clubs and saunas, enjoy approaching people and have your own smartphone with a camera. As some venues restrict entry to male guests, access authorisation to these venues is required for certain assignments.
This is a properly registered mini-job with CMO Internet Dienstleistungen GmbH in Reutlingen: €15 per hour for a minimum of 12 hours per month; any hours worked in excess of this are also paid, with a proper payslip and recorded working hours. You do not need a profile on DaddyBoy for this.
