A platform like DaddyBoy relies on there being enough men in your area. Advertising doesn’t help much, but a tip from a friend goes a long way. What helps most is a sign in the very place you’re likely to be in the evening: at the bar. That’s why we’ve now launched the ‘Help Out’ page.

Here’s how it works

1. Order your materials. Once your age has been verified, you can order your starter pack. You list the venues from the scene guide that you’ve set your sights on, and choose how many stands you need for each: up to three to start with; we’ll include 50 cards with each one. You’ll also need to provide the address where we should send them. We’ll review every order and let you know via the app, even if we need to adjust the quantity.

2. Ask at the venue. Display stands may only be set up with the consent of a person in charge at the venue. They decide where to place them, and ‘no’ means ‘no’. There is one stand per venue.

3. Report the display. Take a photo of the stand in its location, ensuring no people are recognisable, and have the venue representative sign it with their finger on your mobile. If the bar has no mobile signal, report it anyway: the report remains on your mobile and will be sent as soon as you have reception again. If the venue has an address listed in the scene guide, we’ll send them a message and they can confirm or dispute the details.

We’ll keep your address on file

The parcel is sent in neutral packaging; the name ‘DaddyBoy’ does not appear on the envelope. We store your address in encrypted form, separate from your profile. Only the people who pack the parcel can see it, and we delete it 30 days after dispatch. We do not track your location.

Here’s what you get in return

You’ll receive Scout points for your expenses, the same as for listings in the scene guide. Ten points equal one Premium Day.

  • 20 points if we accept your contribution

  • 20 points if the venue confirms it

  • 20 points if the display is still up after 30 days

  • 10 points for restocking, once per venue every 30 days

  • 30 points if 25, 50 or 100 new members from your town sign up via the cards

If a stand goes missing or gets damaged, report it via a tip. It won’t cost you anything.

Cards for friends

Don’t want to set up a stand, but know men who’d be a good fit for DaddyBoy? Then order ‘Cards for friends’: 15 or 50 cards, delivered by post, without a stand and without a venue. Pass them on in person to people you know. They have no place in letterboxes, on cars or in public spaces. You won’t earn any points for this; new cards are issued every 60 days. If you’re ordering display stands anyway, we’ll include the ‘Cards for Friends’ in the same parcel on request.

Even without cards

If you’ve already been to a venue where our cards are on display, we’ll ask you on the venue’s page after a month whether the stand is still there. Just a quick tip is enough, and we’ll know where cards are missing. You can find all the details on the ‘Help Us’ page.
